Job Title:  Production Scheduler

Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $87,000.00/annual; plus, bonus eligibility

Summary: A highly visible Supply Chain role responsible for effectively scheduling Titleist golf club production to meet all business and customer demand requirements. Responsible for scheduling stock and custom club production in line with business goals, working cross functionally to support customer and manufacturing requirements, and communicating supply and demand constraints and recovery plans to all necessary parties within the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop production schedules in Acushnet’s Global ERP System (AGS - Infor M3 and Scheduling Workbench) for stock and custom club production in support of customer requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to successfully manage and execute production scheduling plans for new program launches and key Sales team initiatives.
  • Monitor supply for stock and custom Titleist golf clubs. Work with Sales demand team to adjust forecast in AGS ERP system as needed.
  • Maintain stock and custom club Available to Promise dates and order lead times.
  • Develop, maintain, and publish monthly reports that measure stock and custom club supply, inventory projections, projected consumption, or obsolescence. Publish reports of key programs in order to evaluate supply and demand variances.
  •  Execute AGS order maintenance which includes: printing Rush orders, reprinting orders, researching delayed orders, delivering manufacturing orders (MO's) to the outpost, and responding to emails requesting updates for specific orders.
  • Coordinate with materials management team members to resolve issues such as inventory release, order fill rates and supply vs. demand variances

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with supply planning/production scheduling in an ERP environment is required. 
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Must have thorough understanding of scheduling, planning, purchasing, and production department practices and customer service needs. 
  • Infor M3 (AGS) or SAP ERP system experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and teambuilding skills.
  • Golf industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment preferred.
