Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role:As the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist, you will help develop and implement initiatives to drive engagement of Venmo’s user base throughout their lifetime within Venmo-owned channels (email, in-app, push). You will be responsible for working with multiple stakeholders to develop and lead lifecycle strategies across core P2P engagement and upsell growth for other Venmo products.

- Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing growth strategies across owned channels (email, in-app, push, SMS) to drive user engagement and improve conversion
- Analyze campaign results, determine actionable next steps for optimization, distill results and takeaways for leadership team and key stakeholders
- Work with data and technical teams to develop segmentation for various campaigns and dashboards to measure results
- Develop creative briefs to guide agencies, provide feedback, and solicit appropriate reviews from key partners (Legal, Product, Brand)
- Develop A/B tests to drive effective ROI and incremental lift
- Refine integrations of various marketing tools to ensure campaign tracking and proper campaign measurement
- Collaborate with Operations team to QA campaigns for final deployment
What do you need to bring:
- 3-4 years of Marketing experience (at least 2 years of CRM, lifecycle, or retention)
- Has developed campaigns for email and at least one mobile channel (in-app, push, SMS)
- Is comfortable working cross-functionally & building effective working relationships with technical, creative, and business teams
- Demonstrated project management skills with keen eye for detail - ability to lead, develop and provide clear direction, prioritization and planning
- Can show measurable success in an innovative and agile high-growth environment
- A strong verbal and written communicator
- Highly analytical and comfortable with reporting and analysis of financial metrics
- Nice-to-have: financial services/fin-tech experience, but not required
- Bachelor and/or equivalent work experience required
