Global Wealth Solutions Associate

 

The Role 

Schonfeld’s Capital Development & Investor Relations team is seeking an Associate to join our team in New York.  We are looking for a talented individual who will serve a critical function in supporting the firm’s global wealth solutions engagement efforts, spanning across bank platforms, RIAs, and family offices. This person will report to the Director of Capital Development – Platform Solutions.

                                                                                                                                                                

What you’ll do 

• Assist in all aspects of capital raising and investor relations activities with respect to the global wealth solutions segment of our client base
• Involvement and participation in structuring, launch, and ongoing marketing efforts across our global platform partnerships
• Coordinate and provide support for investor calls, meetings, and conferences
• Help prepare relevant background information and notes for senior professionals ahead of investor engagements
• Assist with ad-hoc analysis for clients
• Craft and update marketing collateral including presentations and questionnaires to better enable us to communicate our firm and strategies to existing and prospective investors
• Liaise with key internal constituents including Legal, Compliance, and Fund Accounting teams to assist with client onboarding and servicing
• Maintain our client database including entering contacts, categorizing investors and creating bespoke reports
• Monitor and deliver industry intelligence to the team from various data sources

What you’ll bring

• Strong academic credentials, with preferably 3-5 years of financial services experience
• Team player with a collaborative approach and a growth mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Self-starter with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to take ownership of and multi-task across priorities to ensure successful and timely completion of deliverables
• Capable of operating in a fast-paced environment
• Poised and professional presence with ability to readily contribute thoughts and perspectives
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Required in-office attendance at least 3 times per week

We’d love it if you had:

• Working knowledge of CRM databases (Backstop preferably)
• Basic understanding of the hedge fund business and/or capital markets
