Training and Clinical Curriculum Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and evaluation of the ODP Medication Administration Training Program, including maintaining trainer certification and ensuring compliance with state standards.
• Develop and oversee specialized health and safety trainings (e.g., diabetes care, seizure management, EpiPen administration, enteral feeding).
• Design and implement a Direct Support Professional development curriculum incorporating person-centered and competency-based learning.
• Collaborate with clinical, compliance, and program leaders to ensure training content reflects best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate engaging classroom and online sessions tailored to diverse learning styles.
• Support the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring consistent course delivery and recordkeeping.
• Collect and analyze training outcomes to drive continuous improvement and audit readiness.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to supervisors and trainers to strengthen instructional quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Nursing, Human Services, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in adult learning, curriculum design, or staff development within healthcare or human services.
• Skills: Strong instructional design, facilitation, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and e-learning tools.
• Certifications: Pennsylvania ODP Medication Administration Trainer certification is preferred or attainable once ODP eligibility requirements are met, CPR/First Aid Instructor Certification (preferred or attainable within 6 months), Other relevant trainer certifications as required for specialized training delivery
• Other Requirements: Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and reliable transportation for regional travel.
