Finance Analyst Controllership

We are currently looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team in Poznań, Poland.

For each Polish Legal Entity Sherwin-Williams Poland Sp.z o.o.and Inver Polska Sp.z o.o. Entity providing support and working closely with the Financial controller for both internal and external reporting and statutory financial compliance including the following tasks:

Controlling USGAAP/Primary GL transaction functions including month end and year end activities 

• Review of month and year end Trial Balance, journals in Primary Ledger
• Fixed asset/Rebate/Cash Management accounting
• Accruals and Prepayments accounting
• Payroll journals and processing, bonus accounting
• Inventory provisions/Other accruals/provisions in general
• Ensure timely and accuracy of financial results including Balance Sheet positions. 
• Support local controller on monthly, quarterly, annual reporting and legal entity close activities (OneStream reports, Corp Tax packs, commentaries & variance analysis)
• Support in controlling the accuracy of the business reports 

USGAAP and STAT Accounting 

• Review and support the STAT chart of accounts and accounting
• Review and support to mapping between STAT and USGAAP accounting
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of BS/P&L accounts

Audit and Internal Controls support

• Handling audit queries (internal and external)
• Preparation of audit and reconciliation schedules
• Assist SBS in driving improvements in BS Reconciliations
• Support STAT Financial Statement 
• Support business on the decisions (investment, margin, aging),review of periodic business reports
• Deal with external auditors 
• Support on local Tax (NBP, transfer pricing, Corp tax control) 
• Support to ICO reconciliations for external audit

• Bachelor’s degree with Minimum of 2 years GL accounting/ controlling
• business and accounting education according to Polish accounting standards
• Strong Excel skills; 
• Fluent in English and Polish
• Experience with Polish VAT
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools (Microsoft Office, SAP).
• Previous experience working in an a multinational organization with 2+ years of finance/accounting experience in Manufacturing Accounting and/or Controlling.
• Advantage to have 2+ years of experience Oracle/Navision/Business Central/PcBiznes ERP accounting.
