Bargaining Unit/Anticipated Salary Range: MEA Administrator; Level IV (4); $55,214.87 - $65,929.46
Position Start Date: March 02, 2026 / This position will be expected to be on campus & in person.
Responsibilities: The Director of Institutional Research and Data Management provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for institutional research, effectiveness, and assessment activities. The position reports directly to the college president and leads efforts in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support institutional planning, decision-making, accreditation, accountability, and continuous improvement. This role supports the college’s mission by fostering a culture of evidence, continuous assessment, and institutional excellence.
Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education, Social Science, Statistics, Public Policy, or a related field and 2 – 4 years’ experience OR a Bachelor’s degree and 4 – 7 years’ experience.
Desirable Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university, along with 2 – 4 years of experience in a Higher Education setting.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Intermediate knowledge and use of data analysis tools and systems (e.g., SQL, SQL Management Studio, Power BI, or Tableau), Microsoft Office tools, relational databases, report and query writers.
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to process design and process management. Intermediate knowledge and use of data analysis tools and systems (e.g. SQL, SQL Management Studio, Power BI, or Tableau), Microsoft Office tools, relational databases, report and query writers.
Prior experience and knowledge with Anthology or a similar Student Information System.
Knowledge of higher education environments
Experience in designing, developing, and creating dashboards using one or more computer programming languages.
Demonstrated ability to analyze information and present results to multiple stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize multiple sources of raw data into results appropriate for educational decision making.
Ability to develop complex reports and queries to meet institutional reporting requirements
Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple projects, and lead change initiatives.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
