We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.

What You Will Do:

Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:

• Maintain accurate metrics of team progress

• Supports all team staffing responsibilities, including interviewing new candidates, dealing with team performance issues, and supporting team member growth and development

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

• Experience working proposals, team building, developing and maintaining metrics, facilitating and providing training, and shaping a culture.

• Strong System Engineering and proven leadership experience.

• Experience performing system engineering for large complex systems to include requirements analysis and decomposition, Interface definition, root cause analysis, application design, integration, and test.

• Experience working on site and with teammates from multiple companies and in geographically locations.

• Familiarity with agile principles and the ability to work with different teams within an organization.

• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, identifying, and diagnosing systems administration, infrastructure and architecture.

• Experience user of the Confluence and JIRA tools and interface specifications to document and control the achievement of the desired capabilities.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. (with SCI eligibility)

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience working with Missile Defense Agency and experience on the C2BMC Program

• Experience with Agile Methods

• Experience developing prototypes and performing experiments

• Modeling and simulation experience
