Being responsible for some of the most memorable VFX films and adverts, TCS partners with brands from Apple to Disney to create content that is consumed by millions across the globe. Our four business divisions: TCS is comprised of four business units, each market leading and each serving a different part of the entertainment industry. All four business are seeing considerable growth and there are no signs of this slowing.

MPC – Serves Film and Episodic organisations. Having won several Oscars and other prestigious awards MPC partners with all the world leading film studios and has worked on films including The Lion King, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Top Gun, 1917, The Greatest Showman and Guardian of the Galaxy, to name but a few.

The Mill – Serves advertising organisations and has helped create some of the world’s most recognisable brands. With clients including Apple, Amazon, Budweiser and Nike The Mill is the most recognisable name in VFX advertising.

Mikros – Creating market leading animation, Mikros has created iconic shows such as Rug Rats, Alvin and the Chipmunks, SpongeBob and Paw Patrol.

Technicolor Games – Serves AAA game studios and work on asset creation as well as cinematics. Having worked on titles such as Call of Duty, Resident Evil, FIFA and Grand Theft Auto, Technicolor Games is growing incredibly quickly and rapidly moving into other areas of the games’ ecosystem.

Job Description

Key responsibilities

  • Providing financial insight to the Executive/senior Management team
  • Oversee and support the financial planning, reporting and financial analysis of the Technicolor Group
  • Perform budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis that support key corporate decisions.
  • Review budgets and strategic business plans for the Group and provide recommendations.
  • Provide complex financial analyses based on information and data from different sources to support the key business decisions.
  • Provide ad-hoc business performance reporting.
  • Give recommendations and drive actions to secure achievement of budget, goals, KPIs.
  • Contribute to cash forecast process, provide recommendation on the process improvement, drive the implementation of change.
  • Provide strong support in the area of IFRS and consolidation subject matters.
  • Ensure data quality, correct reporting, recommend data adjustments.
  • Contribute to improvement of Group reporting guidelines and procedures.
  • Liaise with senior stakeholders in Business Controlling Teams, Treasury, Tax, Shared Services, Legal etc.
  • Involvement in strategic transformation plans. The candidate will enable that transformation particularly across the Group.
  • Providing insight on the financial dynamics of the business to spot opportunities and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrable experience in a finance, in similar role on global level, in a complex and international organization (minimum 7 years)
  • Experience in Audit or Transaction Services is a plus.
  • Practical knowledge of IFRS, consolidation and processes of internal controlling
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with financial and commercial acumen.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint ability
  • Experience in the systems like: SAP, BW, Magnitude, Board, Coupa. 
  • Commercial awareness, the interface or ‘translator’ between finance and operations
  • Challenging The Business Divisions providing information and data to enable continuous improvement in performance.
  • Strong influencing skills, senior stakeholder management and proactively setting the agenda, building relationship and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a team player.
  • Challenge status quo and act as agent of change
  • Make decisions, be comfortable with risk and working with ambiguity.
  • Fluent in English.
