Sr. Production Lead

Our Manufacturing facility in Valdosta, GA is seeking a Senior Production Lead to join our team.

The Senior Production Lead will assist our Production Supervisor in overseeing the Lamination/Fiberglass department. Responsible for assisting with training, motivating employees and ensuring overall safety of the production team.

*Hours are Monday- Thursday 6:00am- 4:00pm + overtime to be expected, including Friday.*

*Pay is $21-23 an hour, plus OT, full benefits and PTO.*

Key Functions:

• Assists supervisor in managing FRP Lamination/Fiberglass department functions
• Works with supervisor overseeing and coordinating the work of a large department (54 employees)
• Works with Supervisor in managing day to day issues including: meeting productions and shipping deadlines, training employees, troubleshooting production and or distribution issues, overseeing safety, and working conditions, assisting supervisor with questions, issues, and requests from other department supervisors
• May be required to utilize the MRP computer system, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience manufacturing environment; experience with fiberglass or bathtub/shower products HIGHLY preferred
• Previous experience in a lead/supervisor role preferred, but willing to forego, if candidate has leadership qualities.
• Must be able to stand for full shift (8 hours), plus overtime as needed
• Lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Mechanical aptitude; previous experience using hand tools.
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and organize as required
