What is the job about? 

 

Peerless Pump Company, a Grundfos subsidiary, is seeking a Program Manager to join its Commercial Fire Packages team. As our new Peerless Pump Program Manager- Commercial Fire Packages, you will be driving the development and delivery of engineered skid-mounted equipment programs for commercial fire protection packages. This position reports directly to the Director, Commercial Development Fire Business Unit and will operate on a hybrid schedule 3 days per week on-site in our new Waller, Texas facility.

 

 

Your main responsibilities:  

 

  • Lead end-to-end program execution, from concept to launch, for Commercial Fire Package initiatives, including Inline Fire Skid Package development
  • Define and manage technical scope, ensuring integration of pumps, controls, piping, electrical systems, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, sourcing, production, quality, sales, and service functions
  • Develop program plans, timelines, budgets, and risk assessments while ensuring alignment with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to secure materials and monitor supplier performance
  • Ensure all packages adhere to internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements, including UL, FM, and NFPA certifications

 

 

                                                           

Your background

 

We imagine that you have:

Above all, you are a strategic leader with strong technical expertise in mechanical systems and program management, skilled at driving cross-functional collaboration.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in engineered-to-order equipment, industrial systems, or complex product development/program management
  • Proven expertise in managing budgets, schedules, and risk assessments for technical programs
  • Strong understanding of pump systems, industrial controls, and fire protection equipment

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
  • PMP or equivalent program/project management certification
  • Experience with UL, FM, and NFPA compliance

 

You'll also be available for travelling up to 20 days per year.

 

 

Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. The annual pay for this position ranges from $101,000-$159,000.   Actual pay will depend upon skill set, experience, and location. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Waller, Texas.
