We execute change projects to manage all topics from IT infrastructure to software development to operating software in the cloud with the goal to improve our software development capabilities, enhance our client offerings and increase the efficiency of our service centers. In this role you follow developments in current financial markets regulation (focus CH, EU and UK) as well as future regulatory initiatives, analyze their impact on our current products and services and drive implementation and changes across teams to comply with legal and regulatory requirements from the various regulators.</p><p><strong>Your mission</strong> </p><ul><li>Follow developments in current financial markets regulation and collect requirements from various stakeholders (internal and external, including clients)</li><li>Analyze their impact on our current products and services, align with the various product owners and drive implementation and changes to comply with legal and regulatory requirements from the various regulators</li><li>Carry out assessments and checks to ensure that our products keep delivering date accurately according and timely in line with relevant regulatory requirements</li><li>Keep all stakeholders informed, from our internal product owners to sales to clients and support the development of the Regulatory Roadmap</li><li>Drive the entire project lifecycle, from analyzing regulatory topics and possible impact, writing specifications, drafting proposals and initiating and driving new projects and product updates to successful execution and closure</li><li>Manage financials, scope and quality in alignment with senior stakeholders and manage risks and issues along the entire lifecycle and remove blockers for the team</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What you need</strong> </p><ul><li>University degree in finance, law and/or technology or similar</li><li>Highly motivated with a can–do attitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, willingness to drive difficult conversations to a practical solution</li><li>10+ years of experience in Project Management or similar position for banking and/or technical cross-functional projects</li><li>Proven track record of delivering results in a complex international, diverse and agile driven environment</li><li>Self organized and driven personality with aptitude to analyze and discuss regulatory topics in detail and drive consensus among all stakeholders</li><li>Experience in leading RFI&amp;RFP processes, vendor negotiation, contracting, hiring and managing third parties</li><li>Experience managing end-to end execution of complex programs that span multiple engineering teams through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time)</li><li>Effective presentation skills (German and English, French or Italian is a plus) with the ability to deliver a polished and professional business and technical pitch to C-Suite and Board levels</li><li>Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging regulatory topics, technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the banking/technology space</li><li>Background in regulatory, legal, financial services and/or technology is a plus</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Now let's talk about perks and compensation</strong></p><p>We have a hybrid work week model, giving colleagues flexibility in how they work, as well as ensuring we create our unique Avaloq culture in our office locations.
