Albireo Energy is looking for a Purchasing & Warehouse Associate to join our team in Yorba Linda, CA. This position will play a critical role in pushing our business forward, assisting management with inventory control and best practices of supply chain strategies.
We are looking for an energetic, passionate individual who has the strategic mindset to help coordinate growth. This position requires a self-motivator and results-oriented individual.
- Assist senior level procurement staff with all facets of procurement process.
- Assist with future over the counter sales.
- Provide Project Managers updated on material procurement status.
- Maintain strong relationship skills to coordinate with internal and external customers including project managers, to ensure on-time results.
- Monitor inventory levels across warehouse(s).
- Assist with service vehicle truck inspections and maintain vehicle stock
- Follow standard processes to ensure best practices in procurement operations.
- Maintain procurement data within the procurement system including updates to delivery dates.
- Create purchase orders and manage inventory in support of multiple warehouses.
- Assist with the resolution of supplier issues through analysis and reconciliation.
- With assistance, prepare and analyze price analysis and/or market research.
- Follow specific, outlined, and detailed procedures and instructions.
- Pull orders accurately (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
- Receive and process incoming packages accurately (pick, unload, label, store).
- Pull and deliver parts as needed.
- Organize stock and maintain accurate inventory counts in Microsoft AX accounting system.
- Inspect products for defects and damage.
- Report all discrepancies timely to appropriate management.
- Coordinate warehouse operations to support company needs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company regulations.
- Assist with Warranty Returns and paperwork.
Requirements
- Previous Warehouse experience is preferred.
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Experienced with Microsoft AX preferred and or inventory management software.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Ability to complete basic math applications.
- Proficiency in computer software, databases, and systems.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Identify needs by listening to communications and determine best course of action.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
- Perform scheduled task(s) using controlled reporting.
- High degree of professionalism and courtesy.
- Physical abilities required for this position include walking, grasping, crawling, kneeling, reaching, carrying, stooping, crouching, standing, sitting, climbing, lifting over 50lbs.
- Maintain a neat, clean professional appearance.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization daily.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures.
- Perform other duties as requested in order to maintain high level of customer service through timely and effective teamwork.
- Must have and maintain a valid state divers license and insurance required by law.
- Routine travel is required to other locations within the state and deliveries are often made during work hours.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties.
