District Manager (Chicago/Indianapolis) - #000 Corporate

Position: District Manager

Our amazing Field Team is currently looking for an optimistic District Manager to lead a team of Store Managers to maximize sales goals and promote store growth. This district includes Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Ensures all directives given by the company are met completely and in a timely manner
• Recruits, hires, trains, & coaches all Store Managers in their district 
• Promotes and ensures that Store Managers maintain a model store 
• Monitors and reports sales and budgeted hours on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis
• Ensures that safety and security guidelines are followed to prevent loss and guarantee employee/customer safety
• Visits stores in their district to create model store locations 
• Contacts all stores in their district weekly and reviews their individual department sales 
• Ensures schedules are written within payroll guidelines to optimize sales, complete operational tasks, and meet developmental goals
• Works directly with all areas of store support to ensure each store is performing correctly 
• Enforces and follows all company policies and procedures
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Uphold and represent the Earthbound Field mission statement in all aspects of the role
• Previous multi-store experience in a retail environment 
• Minimum of 5 years of store management experience 
• Ability to travel extensively within and outside of District, including overnights stays as needed
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when required
• Exceptional leadership, team building, and selling skills
• Strong problem solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills 
• Strong computer skills 
• Proven success with the training and development of teams
