Deputy CISO | Hybrid

 

You will provide leadership, and oversight of the delivery of security services including threat intelligence, incident response activities, security advisory services.

 

Additionally, with partners, promote the policy goals of Allianz SE and Allianz Life Insurance Company of America as they relate to leading efforts to develop information security following the organizational IS standards, including strategy and reporting, steering, policy, risk, project portfolio, independent control assurance and awareness and training capabilities.

 

What you do:

• Primary responsibility for leading and transforming the Security Advisory Services and Technical Control oversight functions.
• Understands IT & IS industry best standards, and resources (Gartner, vendors) to ensure optimization of IT & IS delivery effectiveness. Ensure overall success of Information Security delivery and meet customer expectations. Comply with process and control requirements. Understand and support the AZL goals, and priorities.
• Experience with SOC operations or MSSP governance for Security Operations knowledge to provide Security Service oversight and recommend improvements. Working knowledge of IAM, EDR, SIEM, DLP and Vulnerability Management.
• Interface with Security Service Provider to ensure security best practices are implemented, and monitored.
• Manage staff, forecast and budgets - Direct and build team.

 

What you bring:

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

• 10 years of experience required managing IS functions and interacted directly with business leadership
• Expert in leading and directing IS or IT solution delivery
• Technology Certifications, 10 years Business Experience, ITIL, PMI, SDLC
• Experience with technical controls including Firewalls, WAF, Proxies, CASB; Encryption, EDR, AV WAF, IDS/IPS.
• Understanding of IT functions and security controls for: OS, IAM/AD, Database, Networks and NAS.
• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Business Finance, or other related field

 

Additional Qualifications:

 

• 11 or more years of experience
• Knowledge of any of the following regulations preferred: NAIC model data law, NY 500, NIST CSF, COBIT5, European BaFin, FINRA and SEC for SAR. CCPA and other state privacy laws are useful.
