Work Flexibility: Onsite<p></p><p></p><p><span>I am delighted to share that we are now accepting applications for our <b>Stryker Advanced Operations (AO) Global Engineering Development Programme</b> (AOGEDP).</span></p><p></p><p><span><b>Start Date:</b> September 2025.</span></p><p><span><b>Location:</b> Anngrove, Carrigtwohill, Cork.</span><br/> </p><p><span>If you are an upcoming or recent graduate in a Level 8 or above <u>Engineering, Software or Digital</u> discipline-based Degree, then this is the opportunity for you!</span><br/> <br/><b><span>Applications close: Friday 1st of November 2024.</span></b></p><p></p><p><br/><span>The <b>“AO Global Engineering Development Programme”</b> is a </span><u><span>20-month</span></u> <span>structured programme that provides participants the opportunity to be part of a global team, with exposure to cutting edge technology varying from traditional manufacturing processes to additive manufacturing and Robotics, as well as interactions with market leading </span><span>Research & Development (R&D)</span><span> and marketing teams from across the 9 Stryker divisions. </span><span>The programme focuses on developing the skillset, mindset and toolkit of each participant to enable them for success within Advanced Operations to support our wider business to be successful. </span></p><p></p><p>During each rotational assignment participants will be responsible for:</p><p></p><ul><li>Participating in various project teams.</li><li>Work with a highly creative design team to invent and develop innovative new product concepts.</li><li>Investigation, design, development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technology.</li><li>Handover of new processes from development to production.</li><li>Implement quality systems and work closely with Design, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering.</li><li>Provide process validation support both internally and with vendors.</li><li>Develop and qualify new test equipment and methods.</li><li>Research, specify and qualify new test or prototyping equipment.</li><li>Participate in various trainings to develop your skillset, mindset and toolkit.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><u><span>What Are We Looking For?</span></u></b></p><p></p><ul><li><b><u><span>Dedicated achievers:</span></u></b> People who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are determined & driven to ensure commitments are met, projects are delivered and meets regulations and expectations.</li></ul><p></p><ul><li><b><u><span>Curious learners:</span></u></b> People who seek out cutting-edge research and information to expand and enhance their ability to be creative which supports the development of new ideas from concept into reality.</li></ul><p></p><ul><li><b><u><span>Collaborative Partners</span></u></b><b>:</b> People who build and leverage cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information, use cases, and industry analyses to develop best practices.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><u><span>What You Need?</span></u></b></p><p></p><ul><li><span>Candidates must have already attained or be on course to attain a <b><u>2.1 result</u></b> in a Level 8 or above Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Biomedical/ Electrical/ Electronic/ Software/ Digital / BIS/ Project Management Discipline-Based Degree.</span></li><li><span>Candidates must have/will have attained the above <u>between June 2023 and Sept 2025</u>.</span></li><li><span>Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</span></li><li><span>The individual should enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic and results orientated team environment.</span></li><li><span>Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-functionally and with global teams.</span></li><li><span>Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product, and process design.</span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b><u>Recruitment Process:</u></b></p><p></p><p>Our recruitment process has a number of stages to give you the opportunity to learn about us as well as helping us learn about you:</p><ul><li><b>Initial Interview</b></li><li><b>Gallup Interview</b></li><li><b>Technical Assessment</b></li><li><b>Final Interview</b></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Applications close: <b><u>1st of November 2024</u></b>.
