About Us – Pediatric/Adult Unit

• The Pediatric/Adult Unit consists of 15-beds to provide care to children from birth to age 18. Additionally, we take overflow adult patients with uncomplicated medical, surgical, orthopedic, and OB/GYN diagnoses as needed. Admission of adult patients excludes those with specific diagnoses that requires a higher level of specialized care.

• We work with families to make their children's hospitalization less traumatic by encouraging parental involvement

• With chair beds in each room, as well as meal trays for parents, families remain together during difficult times. Each room has a TV with movies and video games available upon request

• Our care team focuses on teamwork, compassion and relationship building

What You'll Do

Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in RN nursing program and beginning final semester of nursing school
