We transform existing business towards new digital challenges and continuously develop towards a future proof IT landscape for Vattenfall.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>Your responsibilities as Senior Data Engineer </strong></p><ul><li>Will mainly relate to cloud services as Vattenfall use Microsoft Azure as a cloud platform.</li><li>Design, build and integrate data from various sources.</li><li>Write complex data queries and create data infrastructure in a simple and efficient matter.</li><li>Design and develop Power BI dashboard solutions for the business to make it possible to e.g. increase decision accuracy and improve process efficiency.</li><li>Work closely with our business partners and help them to get better insight in our customers’ demands</li><li>Comfortable to do trainings in PowerBI</li><li>Act as a mentor and guide your more junior colleagues in Data Engineering</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>You have a hands-on mentality to solve complex issues</li><li>You are skilled in understanding the customer demands and can support them in building professional dashboards and can also be their speaking partner when it comes to Power BI</li><li>Learning new tools and software development skills is your second nature</li><li>You have an Agile mindset and SCRUM way of working</li><li>You feel personally committed to the goal setting and delivery of the team</li><li>Last but not least you are not afraid to drink a cup of coffee with a product owner</li></ul><p><strong>Your Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>At least a Bachelor’s within Computer Science or comparable field and you have at least 5 years’ experience in software development</li><li>Strong skills in data exploration and data modeling e.g. Azure Analysis Services</li><li>Design, develop and maintain Power BI reporting and self-service solution</li><li>Well familiar with Microsoft Azure Data lake, Azure SQL database and data warehouse solutions</li><li>Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL / ELT pipelines</li><li>Ability to integrate data from a variety of sources using integration and orchestration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Databricks)</li><li>Self-motivated and interested in researching and experimenting with new technologies</li><li>English is a must, Swedish is a plus.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>What do we offer?</strong><br/> A challenging and independent job in an informal, dynamic working environment.
