<p><span><span>We are currently looking for a <b>Senior Expert Group Consolidation </b>to join our team in Maastricht/Geneva.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span>As Senior Expert Group Consolidation you participate in the financial consolidation by collecting, judging of and reporting on the financial figures of dsm-firmenich. As well as being a focal point between reporting units, Business Units/Regional Finance Centers and the shared service center on one hand, and the internal and external stakeholders on the other hand.</span></span></p>

<p><span><span><b>Key Responsibilities</b> </span></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span><span>Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and their corresponding documentation on a wide range of accounting topics including technical topics such as business combinations/divestments; support in the preparation of accounting papers as necessary.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Be critical on the quality of financial data reported by local teams, challenge and understand significant movements/balances reported by local finance and ensure accuracy in accordance with IFRS and the Group accounting policies; prepare and providing trainings as necessary.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Prepare standard monthly and/or quarterly reports and review those of other team members; also prepare ad hoc reports based on punctual top management or other stakeholders needs.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Actively foster a “best-in-class” reporting environment by helping simplify/standardize reporting systems and providing appropriate training and support to regional, local and GES finance teams.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Support the team in preparing the dsm-firmenich consolidated annual report by preparing some disclosures and their supporting documentation, including preparing goodwill impairment tests and deliverables to external auditors.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Take the lead in preparing annual reports for the sub-consolidations (i.e. legacy DSM and/or legacy Firmenich).</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Manage the needs of stakeholders outside of GC&R, in particular FP&A, BU Finance, Financial Compliance and others as necessary.</span></span></li>

<li><span><span>Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 66,505 to € 95,007 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more.</span></span></li>
</ul>
<p><span><span><b>You Bring </b> </span></span></p>
<ul>
<li><span><span>Master’s degree in finance and/or accounting and strong knowledge of IFRS accounting practices, CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>5-7+ years of work experience in auditing and/or financial group accounting; Big Four experience is a plus.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Affinity with systems and automation (preferably SAP GR). Excel agility is a must.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>An ambitious and talented team player with good adaptability skills in a changing post-merger environment.</span></span></li>
<li><span><span>Fluency in written and verbal English is a must.</span></span></li>
