This position is charged to spearhead the Zscaler Academic Alliance Program (ZAAP) in the EMEA region. With the mission to bridge the cybersecurity skills gap by educating the workforce of the future, you will be responsible for identifying and building strategic partnerships with Colleges/Universities, Learning Organizations, and Professional Associations to help drive acceleration and adoption of Zscaler Zero Trust Platform within the student and educator community. This role will also work with higher education sales and marketing leaders to leverage existing relationships for new growth opportunities in academia. You will be ensuring the quality of content and training experience for onboarding and enabling the faculty.  You will serve as subject matter expert on technical needs of academic institutions and actively represent the program in numerous academic settings. 

 

Your Impact

• Build plan to recruit new colleges and universities into the program
• Onboard, enable and, support the faculty to teach the prescribed curriculum
• Understand the academy’s needs and provide appropriate service recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Customer Success, to ensure customer satisfaction and success.
• Ensure all deliverables are completed per the program schedule from inception to completion.

 

Roles / Responsibilities:

• Working with universities and colleges across EMEA implementing Zscaler Academic Alliances Program vision and strategy
• Work on be the face of Zscaler in establishing a multi-faceted and trusted relationship with, universities, colleges, high schools, other institutions, and educators
• Oversee all aspects of marketing, demand generation, enrolment, support and continuous management of the Zscaler Academic Alliance Program
• Represent Zscaler Academic Alliance Program in various events conducted by professional organizations, government panels, academic institutions, industry groups, company sponsored events etc.
• Define, socialize, and implement new models as appropriate to support the evolving Zscaler Academic Alliance Program
• Own stretch targets to significantly increase reach, scale and growth of the program

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Sales program management
• Proven Record & Managing Relationships with deans and faculty for top Computer Science, Engineering and Business programs at University and college levels
• Experience working with international markets is a plus 
• Excellent Oral and written Communication Skills
• Good Project Management & Organizational Skills
• Exceptional Customer Service Skills
• Having cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.
