The Role

As a Social Media Strategist, you will be joining the Corporate Communications Content team, responsible for developing, implementing and managing social media strategies that differentiate Kyndryl and advance the priorities of the company. Working with a cross-functional team, you will be the architect of our executive social media strategy, which includes creating engaging content that amplifies company announcements and drives thought leadership. You'll analyze social media metrics, test and learn about emerging trends and platforms, and use data-driven insights to optimize performance and provide actionable guidance.

Responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Creation

  • Core responsibilities include developing and executing social media strategies and content planning for Kyndryl’s leaders, based on platform research and best practices guidance, identifying social trends and reporting on performance.

  • Concept and create social-first content with engaging tone and visuals to promote corporate news announcements and external-facing content on owned social media platforms such as LinkedIn and X (Twitter).

  • Write and edit copy for social posts for company announcements and executives as needed.

  • Partner with creative and production teams on social content.

  • Ensure messaging alignment with Communications, Marketing, Events, business resource groups and more.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with Brand Social Team on messaging and timing.

  • Curate internal social media toolkits that can be used for company leadership and employee amplification across different countries and markets.

  • Work with executives to optimize social media engagement levels regularly.

Measurement & Monitoring

  • Build consistent reporting on brand and C-suite/leadership social media measurement, highlighting key metrics and insights across organic and paid campaigns.

  • Design and propose social media listening plans to support audience development and engagement objectives.

  • Monitor competitive social landscape (at the brand and executive level) and share insights that will help Kyndryl differentiate itself in the space.

  • Help monitor the company’s online communities and presence.

  • Develop and maintain relevant monitoring lists to provide insight on response governance strategies, as well as identify and escalate any issues and/or key trends on social media that could impact company business or brand reputation.

  • Keep up with social media industry trends, emerging technologies and new product betas, as well as changes in social media algorithms.

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $89,030 to $203,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off.  Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

Who You Are

Location:

Preferably based in the NY/NJ/CT area, with occasional travel to New York City headquarters.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of social media strategy experience in a corporate or agency setting.

  • Candidate must have strong organization and time management skills, and excel at written and spoken communication.
