Position Summary:

 

The Senior HR Admin will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department’s operations and initiatives, ensuring efficient and smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient with ADP HRIS, managing HR-related projects, and supporting various HR functions, including employee records, payroll administration, benefits management, compliance, and onboarding. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can navigate complex HR systems and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

 HR Administration & Support:

  • Administer daily HR operations including employee records management, maintaining HR databases, and filing.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of employee files, both digital and physical, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Support the execution of HR policies, procedures, and practices across the organization.
  • Facilitate HR inquiries and serve as a liaison between employees and HR leadership.
  • Assist in employee onboarding, including coordinating new hire paperwork and orientation activities.

ADP System Management:

  • Manage HR processes using ADP Workforce Now, including payroll administration, time tracking, benefits enrollment, and other HR-related functions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ADP systems, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Ensure ADP system data integrity by auditing records, entering new employee information, and updating employee status changes as required.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve system workflows, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues.

Project Management:

  • Lead or support HR-related projects, including employee engagement initiatives, benefits open enrollment, and HR compliance programs.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure project goals and timelines are met, tracking progress and delivering reports as needed.
  • Develop project plans, coordinate project tasks, and ensure clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Analyze project outcomes and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure HR practices align with state and federal regulations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Generate and maintain regular HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, and benefits participation, to provide data-driven insights to HR leadership.
  • Assist in the preparation for audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is available and in compliance with legal requirements.

Employee Relations:

  • Support in managing employee relations matters and assist in conflict resolution, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Address employee queries related to benefits, payroll, time off, and other HR policies.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Minimum of 5 years of HR administration experience.
    • Strong proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS systems is required.
    • Previous experience with HR project management, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong understanding of HR processes, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance regulations.
    • Proven project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects from start to finish.
    • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
