Product Development Engineer for Global Products (Factory Automation)

Festo Corporation is looking for a Product Development Engineer for Global Parts (Factory Automation) to be responsible for product design and fulfillment of product specifications according Festo NEP development process for global products within the factory automation. Position is based in Maineville, Ohio.

 

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Industrial Design and 3 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Product Development Engineer. In addition, the following specific skills are required: 

 

• 3 years of experience with computer modeling techniques;
• 3 years of experience with polymeric materials and manufacturing techniques, such as injection molding, extrusion or diffusion bonding;
• 3 years of experience with factory automation technology and fluid dynamics;
• 3 years of experience with manufacturing and process development activities such as qualification, validation, design of experiments, FMEA and design for manufacturing; and,
• 3 years of experience with Technology concepts, technical standards, and methodologies in factory automation.
• Domestic and/or international travel required 10% of the time.
