PRIMARY PURPOSE -
The Branch Market Manager is responsible for providing general management and operational leadership for all locations within their given market. Effectively manages and coordinates people, activities, and resources to continuously improve the customer experience, sales, and operational efficiency within the region. Manages organizational processes and facility operations to ensure the smooth execution of policies and procedures to drive company revenue, profitability, and sales growth. Takes a hands-on approach to coach, develop, and educate staff to achieve objectives. The ideal area branch manager will be responsible for driving performance, achieving targets, and maintaining the highest standards across multiple locations. ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS -
- Responsible for the management of branch managers and their teams, branch sales, operations, and customer related functions within their assigned market and ensures they are completed timely and accurately.
- Oversee operations and branch managers in multiple branch locations within the area to ensure alignment with company goals and standards.
- Monitor store sales, performance metrics, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor store managers and support them in the recruitment and training development of their staff.
- Collaborate with marketing, equipment, technical specialist departments to support employee and customer training.
- Conduct regular branch visits to evaluate operational standards, customer service, and team dynamics.
- Work with VP Operations to identify internal efficiencies and growth opportunities, such as potential new branches or local market initiatives.
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to influence strategic decisions.

- Oversee the branch managers, ensure productivity standards are maintained in all phases of the operation to achieve financial goals.
- Identifies inconsistencies and develops action plans to correct reoccurring problems.
- Responsible for acting and overseeing actions determined by the branch audit results.
- Ensure employee annual performance reviews are conducted in conjunction with Branch Manager and assist in setting employee goals and areas of development.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for Branch Managers within their region.
- Ensures HR processes and training requirements are followed.
- Reviews financial information for each assigned branch, identify areas to reduce expenses and increase profitability.
- Make recommendations to increase efficiency, resolve issues and improve processes.
- Supports sales department, and sales related activities.
- Acts as a primary contact for key customers to foster positive relationships and promote the business interests of the company.
- Meets with other department heads about sales, inventory, financial and purchasing issues.
- Performs other related duties and/or project as required or requested.

- Demonstrates ability to manage people in a customer experience and distribution environment.
- Demonstrates ability to manage within an established budget as well as a knowledge of financial information, asset management and project management.
- Demonstrates sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be able to input, monitor, and manipulate data with these applications.
