Reporting to the Americas Capacity Delivery, Delivery Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to join a team that partners across the AWS Infrastructure organization to shape the future of the AWS profile and tempo to which we deliver.

Capacity Delivery is seeking a self-starting, execution-oriented Program Manager who will help drive the team toward our mission of building durable and reliable data informed processes within AWS Infrastructure. The ideal candidate has experience managing Infrastructure projects/ programs; developing, monitoring, and reporting project/program health metrics; leading cross-functional teams; developing & implementing change management plans; and training and mentoring performance. As a Program Manager focused on Position Readiness you will be responsible for organizing and managing continuous improvement and process initiatives and play a significant role in developing, driving and managing scalable, data-driven processes.

This role will work with the Position Readiness global Program Managers to execute and unblock rack deployment in the AMER region. The role involves delivery synchronization across disparate functional teams and resolves any blockers for on time delivery as it relates to Position Availability, Usability, and Reliability.



Key job responsibilities
The primary responsibilities from the Program Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

- triage and drive resolution of position availability from an operational view (position, port, power, and constraint issues),
- triage position reliability misses
- identify short term demand supportability and coordinate with planners and infrastructure delivery team members to supplement capacity
- provide weekly and quarterly updates; will also report and provide commentary on progress of key initiatives and metrics at a regional or individual level
- coordinate with regional resolution owners on short-term remedies, burn-down targets, and SLAs
- deep-dive support for all usability defects, including root-cause trending and general support to resolution owners in understanding which values need changing to what, why, by when, etc.
- Performance tracking and improvement efforts
- Identify process improvement opportunities and gather user requirements with key internal customers.
- Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
- Drive adoption with internal customers through effective change management.
- Anticipate potential issues and risks, and escalate appropriately and in a timely manner
- Remain flexible to changing priorities and open to new ideas
- Keep the customer experience as the primary focus

Basic Qualifications


- 2+ years of program or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree
