We are seeking a Performance Manager - Data Analytics to join our Austin, TX HQ, the ideal individual is a data-driven leader who will be responsible for oversight and optimization of operational performance. This role manages the collection, analysis, and reporting of real-time data, defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs), develops reports and dashboards, and develops actionable insights to drive business improvements, enhance operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, present findings to leadership, and ensure data integrity and standardization across the organization.
Your Impact
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of command center analysts and specialists, fostering a culture of data integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement. Ensure the team's analytic work is accurate, high-quality, and aligned with organizational goals. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and performance across the organization.
- Work with IT and analytics teams to ensure the command center's data collection and reporting systems (e.g., EHR, BI tools) are optimized and function effectively. Help define business requirements for new reports and system enhancements.
- Conduct regular performance assessments to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Establish a comprehensive framework for metrics and KPIs to measure performance, quality, and adoption of data-related processes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective implementation and execution of improvement plans.
- Conduct regular training and workshops to enhance employee skills and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and performance enhancement.
- Prepare and present performance improvement reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor data quality and consistency, and work to standardize metrics across different departments.
- Provide data-driven advice to support corporate planning, drive high performance, and inform decision-making.
- Lead initiatives to improve processes and present recommendations for improving returns on investment.
- Partner with business managers, development teams, and other cross-functional teams to ensure data strategies and project requirements are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics or related experience
- 5 years of experience in a data analytics, metrics, or performance management role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify performance gaps and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple improvement initiatives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams across the organization.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and process improvement frameworks preferred
- Provide ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- At least 5 years of proven supervisory experience preferred.
- Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
