We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to work with our Accounts Payable Manager in an increasingly busy and exciting R&D atmosphere. This position’s responsibilities will include reviewing, matching and processing invoices, working with vendors and employees to resolve discrepancies, reconciling vendor accounts and company credit cards, processing employee expense reports, preparing month end accruals, and assisting with month-end closing. Successful candidate will be a flexible self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, anticipate problems, and develop solutions.
This position is remote in the US and will require travel as needed.
Required:
● 2 to 4 years experience in accounts payable and general accounting (willing to train the right candidate)
● Excellent spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets) skills
● Accounts payable, invoice processing, expense report experience
● Customer service oriented
● Strong organization skills
● Ability to manage confidential information in an appropriate manner
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Highly detailed and accurate
Desired:
● Ability to process high volume of invoices with a strong attention to detail (500-600/month)
● Month-end close experience
● Experience with Coupa and NetSuite
● Experience in a manufacturing environment
● Previous experience working in a startup atmosphere
● Interest in aviation
Compensation and Benefits:

Pay range the company expects to pay: $26 - $31 per hour - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
