Job DetailsJob Location: Pawhuska - PAWHUSKA, OK 74056Position Type: Regular Full-TimeEducation Level: 4 Year DegreeJob Category: AccountingThe Senior Federal Program Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Si-Si A-Pe-Txa’s accounting functions related to federal grants and contracts, and/or tribal programs. This position prepares reports, reconciles accounts, prepares financial statements, and works with Directors on their budgets. This position works closely on grant accounting management.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

Bachelors degree in accounting 
3 or more years of healthcare accounting experience
3 or more years of grant accounting experience
3 or more years of healthcare in month end closing, balance sheet reconciliation, accounting experience
Tribal Finance and Accounting Certification
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs

Requires a high level of problem-solving skills
Must maintain confidentiality at all times
Requires good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles
