The Thrust Vector Control (TVC) Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) for this requisition will be focused on providing support to the Propulsion Systems Department by supporting System, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, as well as Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) when TVC systems are involved.
Responsibilities supporting the Propulsion Systems Department include:
· Provide oversight of individual and team technical performance. This may include directly supporting tasks as an individual technical team member, providing technical expertise in a discipline, establishing and implementing processes in the ASED Performance Management System (JPMS), and confirming the technical quality of the work products generated by team personnel.
· Conduct special projects as assigned by Department Manager/ Deputy Department Manager or Office of the Program Manager.

Here's What You'll Need:
Degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or related field is required. Degree from an ABET-accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D., with minimum of 14 years of experience, a Masters with at least 18 years of experience, or BS with at least 20 years of experience.
