Key Leadership Responsibilities

IGT is seeking a Sr. Manager of Software Engineering to join our Las Vegas Studio, a newly established game development studio dedicated to developing groundbreaking gaming experiences. This role will lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality slot games, ensuring seamless integration across all aspects of the game development process. Overseeing the full software lifecycle, from initial concept and technical design to final implementation, this position will drive innovation and maintain best practices in development. Collaborating closely with artists, designers, and other stakeholders, the Sr. Manager, Software Engineering will play a key role in shaping the studio’s success by managing project roadmaps, optimizing workflows, and delivering industry-leading gaming products.
 

• Lead and manage the software engineering team, ensuring seamless integration of slot games.
• Oversee all phases of the software lifecycle, from design through delivery, meeting quality and timeline goals.
• Collaborate with artists, animators, designers, and QA to align technical execution with creative objectives.
• Inspire innovation and problem-solving within the team, fostering a culture of fresh ideas and effective solutions.
• Uphold best practices in development, including scalable coding standards, testing, and deployment pipelines.
• Manage project roadmaps, ensuring effective resource allocation and alignment with organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in leadership roles.
• Proven success in delivering end-to-end software projects, especially in fast-paced settings.
• Knowledge of IGT’s gaming market, products, and competitive landscape.
• Experience with 2D/3D graphics programming and game development pipelines.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, driving innovative processes.
