 Who We NeedWe are seeking Behavioral Health Therapists/Counselors to join our Integrated Health Home (outpatient) in Glendale. In this position, you will provide integrated care for individuals with mental health challenges delivering a model of person-centered care. Guided by our core values of People First, Compassion, Integrity, Perseverance, Accountability, and Innovation, you will provide general counseling services to build people skills, solve life issues, and promote personal recovery growth.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a Master’s degree in the Behavioral Health field (Counseling, Social Work)
  • A minimum of one (1) year of full-time work experience in the behavioral health field required.
  • Licensed, ABBHE license, i.e., Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), License Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independently Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC) or Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Licensed Masters Social Work (LMSW) or eligible to receive license within six (6) months of hire, required.
  • Good academic and working knowledge of DSM IV, State SMI checklist, Community Resources, Psychotropic Medication, Crisis Intervention, Clinical Methods and Procedures, and Intervention Techniques
  • Ability to be credentialed in accordance to funding source and contractual requirements.
  • Must complete training and demonstrate competence in Integrated Care skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office and ability to learn new software systems, i.e., EMR/EHR applications.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and any other required background checks.
  • Ability to meet Copa’s driver authorized driving requirements, set forth by Copa Health’s insurance company.  Including AZ Driver’s license upon hire, 39-month MVR, proof of insurance and vehicle registration, if applicable.
  • Bi-Lingual, (English/Spanish) preferred.
JOB SUMMARY (Including, but not limited to)
  • Provides services to include but are not limited to assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, group therapy, coordination of care with members of the teams, staffing meetings as appropriate.
  • Completes documentation to include but not limited to consents, assessments, ISPs, coordination of care with team members, individual therapy, and group therapy.
  • Determines risks for danger to self or others. Use established criteria or tools
