Strayer University is seeking a dynamic Adjunct Faculty member to join our academics team. We are currently in search of a passionate professor for graduate level BUS512 Data-Driven Decision Making for Leaders class for the upcoming fall quarter, starting October 6th in a hybrid format. The hybrid format is described as teaching the course in both the in-person and online modalities. This role requires 11 in-person meeting sessions for 2 hours every week held at a predetermined scheduled time (day/evening) at a specific Strayer University Campus. The balance of the course is instructed asynchronously online.

Teach courses as assigned from a pre-designed curriculum and utilize your professional expertise to provide high-quality instruction.
Enhance the strength and effectiveness of the curriculum using technology and videos.
Arrive on-campus at least half an hour before the start time of in-person sessions per week during the academic quarter.
Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the student learning experience for the online component of the course.
Be available to students via email, phone, text, and office hours to ensure students receive quality feedback in a timely manner to support their academic success.
Establish high standards and ensure students understand how they will be evaluated.
Adhere to University policies and procedures.
Attend faculty meetings and workshops or training as required.
Job Skills:
Demonstrated knowledge of academic technology.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) software and overall computer skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of academic evaluation.
Proficiency in oral presentation skills, planning, and organizing of course objectives.
Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Effective time management skills.

Work Experience:
At least 5 years of professional experience in business and at least 3 years of management experience preferred. OR If no terminal degree, at least 10 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
Education: All degrees must be conferred and from an accredited university to be considered.
- A terminal degree in business from a regionally accredited institution is required OR a terminal degree in a leadership-related field.
- Must have an MBA and/or have completed relevant coursework at the master’s level in quantitative methodologies, data analysis, statistics, finance, business analytics, or operations management.
Certificates, licenses, and registrations:
Professional certification in discipline specialty (if applicable).
