Responsibilities

Assists in the supervision of the workload of the Physician Denial Management staff, including shifting personnel to areas needing assistance. Reports the status of the department to the Physician Denial Management Supervisor. Provides support to the Physician Denial Management Staff and ensures that a timely response is made to all insurance denials through the appropriate appeal process. Provides leadership and assists in ongoing training to the staff.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

3 years experience in healthcare billing/receivables

Knowledge of healthcare receivables and collections, including denial and appeal processes.

Familiar with current government guidelines in the medical industry.

Computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Healthcare billing software.

PREFERRED:

Centricity knowledge

Coding Knowledge or CPC Certification

Bachelors preferred, with 1 year related experience

Work Hours:

7:45am-4:30pm
