Position Overview
Join our team as the Director of CSSD Training & Systems Support, where you’ll oversee a dedicated team of three employees. Your primary mission will be to develop, facilitate, and support our comprehensive training program for the 1,338-member CSSD sales force. You’ll play a crucial role in educating our sales force about our products and the cutting-edge marketing software used to sell insurance products and provide top-notch service to policyholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support & Guidance: Field questions from the agency force regarding training, marketing, and compliance issues for life, health, and annuity products.
- System Expertise: Provide answers about CSSD systems, including 2 Choice, EASI, Mobile Agent, and Xcelerate.
- Training Delivery: Train agents, sales managers, and district managers on new products, processes, and sales technology through in-person sessions, video conferencing, and webinars.
- Content Creation: Create and edit CSSD service forms, sales forms, letters, and Webforms.
- Compliance Collaboration: Work closely with Corporate Compliance to gain approvals for CSSD training, marketing, and sales forms.
- Professional Development: Prepare and update weekly professional development classes.
- Course Development: Create and update courses for the Learning Management System (Xcelerate) and training materials for various systems and manuals.
- Broker Development: Assist with the development and growth of CSSD brokers, including direct communication, product training, marketing material development, and broker portal maintenance.
- Expense Analysis: Perform monthly analysis of expenses and trends, identify budget variances, and provide research, support, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience as a sales representative for American National or another insurance company, or equivalent experience in a home office marketing support role.
- Leadership: 5 years of supervisory/management experience.
- Licensing: Insurance license for life, health, and annuity products.
