Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Our integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks, so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Key responsibilities:
- Ensure all HUB activities are carried out in compliance with any company guidelines or governmental regulations regarding Maersk’s status as a Container Freight Station (CFS) and Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF)
- Supervising all aspects of our daily Warehouse Operation at OCFO HUB Warehouses
- Ensuring proper setup and consistency of inbound and outbound freight. Assist
- Warehouse Management in resource planning and scheduling
- Resolving problems thru strategic planning and review to identify warehouse system improvement based on policies and procedures
- Maintaining an organized floor space through cargo control and recommendations for improvement by controlling cargo flow in and out of the HUB
- Ensure Warehouse security based on standards set by Maersk, State and TSA regulations
- Identifying and reporting of irregularities of any kind (damage reports, etc)
- Strong knowledge of ULD and/or container loading/unloading (freight integrity) and building (contour shape) as well as break down
- Keep equipment in working order
- Ensure and enforce proper reporting (ex: Inventory Report, Supplier Stock, Equipment (ULD’s/Containers) in timely manner
- Ensuring the safety, cleanliness and security of the warehouse work environment • Escalate any unresolved issues or risks before they materially impact Maersk or clients

Required qualification, experience & skills & Required:
- Business/ Technical Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics and/or distribution
- Ability to work within a team
- Ability to manage workload independently with strong attention to deadlines, compliance and quality
- Setting an example to others to follow regarding knowledge, expertise, work ethic and reliability
- Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, shift hours vary between 7am and 10
