The Sr. Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining all Boot Barn locations throughout the US; as standalone, strip center or mall-based facilities. The position is responsible for internal and external building maintenance, environmental/safety regulation compliance, grounds maintenance, custodial support, space assignments, facility upgrades and any other facility related projects that may arise. The position is required to assist in the development, and management of capital and expense budgets within strict company guidelines.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for store teams regarding facility-related concerns, acting as the liaison between stores and the Facilities Department for all maintenance and repair needs.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to ensure timely resolution and minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Manage the work order system (ServicChannel), ensuring accurate, up-to-date documentation in alignment with company policies and standards, maintaining store locations, users, settings, and supporting our partners
  • Coordinate reactive, preventive, and emergency maintenance services across all store locations with providers.
  • Partner with external vendors and contractors across key trades, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, signage, BA & FA, janitorial, and general repairs and maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain SLAs by trade, in collaboration with store support teams. Track and evaluate work order performance, vendor responsiveness, and compliance with Service-Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Proactively communicate critical operational issues impacting facility operations to internal stakeholders.
  • Schedule, track, and follow up on all preventive maintenance tasks across store locations.
  • Administer the ongoing Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Program for both current and future retail locations.
  • Source qualified vendors capable of meeting Predictive and Preventive Maintenance (PPM) requirements.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, roofing, and general construction and repair.
  • Ensure all locations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations at local, state, and federal levels.
  • Support store openings, remodels, and closures from a Facilities standpoint, in partnership with Store Development, Construction, and Operations Partners.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections at stores to assess conditions, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term corrective actions or capital improvements.
  • Monitor facility budgets, process vendor invoices, and implement cost-control measures as directed.
  • Support process improvements aimed at lowering total cost of ownership, reducing expenses, and mitigating supplier risk.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive list of facility assets across all locations.
  • Develop and manage KPIs, service scorecards, and conduct regular business reviews to evaluate vendor performance. Provide regular reporting to leadership on maintenance trends, vendor performance, and facility performance indicators (KPIs).
