For the first time in their farming life, many are now able to obtain an accurate diagnosis and the right treatment. On top of this, we provide detailed advice on how to avoid crop loss and to minimise pesticide and fertiliser use. With Plantix, we are able to make a meaningful impact in farmers’ lives.

We have also built the country’s largest digital B2B platform, the Plantix Partner App for agri-inputs - connecting tens of thousand local retailers. The company has over 1000 products listed in the product catalogue, offers transparent pricing, easy payment and business management.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the product management team and you help to define the product strategy and vision

• Define high-level product concepts, features and releases, and maintain and prioritize the product backlog

• Own specific roadmap items and work closely with different teams and stakeholders to set and hit goals on time

• Analyse and identify outcomes of your owned projects

• Discover new opportunities and find out how our products can tap into them

• Train the next generation. Engage your coaching and mentoring skills when guiding junior team members and introducing new methodologies

• Communicate the strategy, vision and roadmap to the organization and your affiliated teams

• Learn quickly. You’ll be regularly collaborating with the founders, reporting to the Head of Product and benefiting from their experience and advice

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Product Manager in a fast-growing online consumer business

• Over 5 years of experience in mobile application development, preferably with a focus on Android

• Flexibility to work closely with our Indian team to improve our UX and UI, so that it is meeting the needs of our quite unique user base

• Good instincts and fast decision-making, along with an analytic mind for data

• The ability to work at a high iteration speed together with your team

• Strong communication skills with an excellent command of written and spoken English

• You are conceptually-strong but also not afraid to be hands-on
