Sterile Processing TechJob Description
Sterile Processing Technicians decontaminate, assemble, sterilize and distribute instruments, equipment and supplies. Maintains education in Sterile Processing and related aspects of patient care.
Department: Sterile Processing
Hours: 2:30pm-11pm, Weekend & Holiday rotating schedule
Responsibilities
Collects trash and recyclables from assigned areas and deposits in the appropriate place for pickup and /or removal., Demonstrates productive use of time, equipment and supplies., Dust mops and wet mops tiled floors., Maintains assigned equipment in clean, operable condition, assists with preventative maintenance and reports repair needs to supervisor immediately., Mixes, uses and disposes of chemicals according to directions., Polishes furniture, doors, chrome, stainless steel, etc.Requirements
