Supervisor - Cardiology Practice - Queens Medical Group
In this role the Practice Supervisor:
Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Act as a liaison between staff and coordinate with other departments and services for efficient operations
Interpret and enforce medical group policies.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Assist in developing cost-effective systems (e.g., scheduling, productivity).
Retrieve and verify data from practice systems.
Recommend improvements to systems and operations.
Ensure timely and accurate information flow.
Maintain effective communication across departments and with senior management.
Address and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.
Participates in the hiring decisions and conduct performance evaluations.
Set performance standards and monitor quality.
Schedule work, provide training, and support staff development.
Foster a positive work environment.
Implement initiatives to boost morale, satisfaction, and retention.
Enhance patient satisfaction through communication, empathy, and feedback.
Ensure smooth scheduling and address patient concerns.
This is a full-time day position, Monday through Friday with hours between 8:00AM to 5:00PM. This position is located Fresh Meadows, NY.
Preferred Criteria:
Bachelor's degree
3 years of supervisory experience preferred
Required Criteria:
High School Diploma /GED
Previous supervisory experience
Excellent interpersonal/communications skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint or equivalent tools
Excellent oral and written communication skills; initiative and ability to solve problems independently
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Salary Range:
