Job Description

Unit Secretary Clerks are responsible for the following: 

 

  • Provides support to the nurse manager with reports, data, and special assignments. 

  • Transcribes physician orders for medications, diets, treatments, etc. 

  • Runs errands as directed/necessary 

 

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the Unit Secretary Clerk will perform various clerical responsibilities on nursing units including preparing, compiling, and maintaining patient records.  

 
Qualifications for this position include: 

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Six (6) months of clerical experience 

  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Salary Range

$17.00 to $22.98

The actual hiring rate will be determined based on candidate experience, skills and qualifications. This position is not eligible for an annual incentive.
