Job Description:
EDUCATION
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Master's: nursing
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
- RN-Registered Nurse of California
- CNS-Clinical Nurse Specialist (Will consider in process, to be completed within 2 years of hire)
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years experience as an RN in an acute care setting
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Demonstrated general knowledge and competence with regard to advanced nursing theories, concepts and practices; medical terminology; anatomy; and physiology.
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry, safety precaution policies, best practices regarding patient care and privacy, and changes in local/state/federal regulations.
- Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Outlook), Electronic Health Record (EPIC preferred).
- Ability to prioritize and delegate assignments and work within standardized policies, procedures, and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
- Ability to identify, evaluate and resolve standard problems by selecting appropriate solutions from established options.
- Ability to ensure the privacy of each patient’s protected health information (PHI).
- Ability to build collaborate relationships with peers and other healthcare providers to achieve departmental and corporate objectives.

Pay Range is $81.81 to $114.51 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
