Your Impact

As a senior engineering leader, you will shape the vision, strategy, and execution of all engineering activities across the business group. You’ll be responsible for driving new product introductions, cost reduction initiatives, and lifecycle product support, while fostering innovation and collaboration across global teams. Your leadership will directly impact product quality, customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and market penetration.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish and execute the engineering strategy to deliver world-class excellence aligned with business goals.

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in service, operations, supply chain, finance, and marketing to develop and execute a global product roadmap.

  • Lead the product development lifecycle from concept through design, manufacturability, serviceability, and customer delivery.

  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, technology, and resource utilization across global engineering teams.

  • Manage and optimize expenses, regulatory compliance, and cost reduction efforts while ensuring innovation and product excellence.

  • Create and maintain an organizational culture of innovation, collaboration, urgency, and continuous improvement.

  • Select, coach, and develop engineering talent while fostering a high-performance team culture.

  • Provide oversight and leadership for new product development projects, including schedules, costs, resources, quality, and validation testing.

  • Lead business planning processes, recruitment, retention, talent acquisition, and mentoring of engineering staff.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 20+ years of engineering experience.

  • 10+ years of management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with global product support, including special order engineering, application engineering, and escalation resolution.

  • Proven track record of driving results in industrial/commercial product development environments.

  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional, multi-location/global engineering teams.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong technical foundation in engineering principles with the ability to translate customer needs into product solutions.

  • Deep understanding of engineering processes, continuous quality systems, cost reduction methodologies, and product lifecycle management.

  • Proficient in developing and managing product development schedules, resources, budgets, and validation test plans.

  • Ability to balance multiple global projects simultaneously, ensuring quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent communication, team-building, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

  • Business acumen with knowledge of financial, sales, and marketing drivers related to product design and development.

  • Self-driven, flexible, and highly motivated, with a strong capacity to learn and challenge the status quo.
