Senior Technical Advisor

<p><strong>About the Job</strong> </p> <p>The Senior Technical Advisor is a Technical Expert in the technical support organization (Technology Support and Development) as part of the Sales &amp; Marketing organization. This is a highly visible single contributor role that is tasked with developing, maintaining and transferring application competence in the applications of the segment (TYR or Tyre and rubber manufacturing industry). This role requires some travelling mainly in Europe.</p> <p>Main responsibilities: </p> <ul> <li>Support the sales organization with e.g. product and application related issues and continuously transfer new application knowledge  </li> <li>Technical marketing in physical and digital channels  </li> <li>Be responsible for specified key contacts with customers in the tyre and rubber industry  </li> <li>Follow the technical development within the tyre and rubber industry  </li> <li>Initiate product development and manage related projects </li> <li>Maintain and develop identified key contacts in the segment </li> <li>Participate in relevant committees, trade associations and other organizations to maintain a broad view of application development, competitor products and activities and application knowledge </li> <li>Participate in external communication activities together with sales representatives  </li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong> </p> <p>We believe that you are an outgoing person who has the ability to engage and contribute to a good team spirit. You build trust by being a credible industry expert and by sharing and spreading that knowledge across the organization. </p> <p>Other requirements needed for the position: </p> <p>You hold an academic degree preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, material science or equivalent with relevant work-life experience, or equivalent competence and experience gained by other means. </p> <ul> <li>At least 5 years’ experience from similar roles working in industry </li> <li>Documented experience and understanding of working with technical sales and technical sales support </li> <li>Deep knowledge in the following applications: Base oils, Tyres or Technical rubber </li> <li>Communicates fluently in English (and ideally either Swedish, French, Spanish, Portuguese or German) </li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p>At Nynas, you’ll be part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and professional development.
