Senior Partnerships Manager
YonderAbout the role
What’s Yonder?
“It's as if Time Out, Amex and Monzo had a baby” - Will T, Yonder Member
We’re building the financial membership of the future. Starting with a credit card that has fun and experiences at its core, we’re the antithesis to your dad’s stuffy, corporate, boring credit card.
Whilst tech is revolutionising the finance industry, credit is still stuck in the stone ages. We want to create a world where financial services are fair and conscious, and the stress of debt is eliminated for everyone.
We've raised an additional £23.4M in September 2024 to grow our team, launch even better rewards and fast-track our expansion outside the UK 🎉
Sounds cool. What’s my part in this?
Over the last year we've added a debit card, a free membership tier, hundreds of new independent partners around the country, countless product improvements and our personal favourite, Yonder Flights, a new way to use Yonder points on any flight with any airline globally. We've maintained a 4.5 TrustPilot rating and our customers really love us (and we love them back... hi!).
Now, we’re taking Yonder international for the first time, starting with the Netherlands. We’re looking for a Senior Partnerships Manager (Netherlands) to build our local rewards programme.
You’ll be our very first partnerships hire in the Netherlands, reporting to the VP Partnerships in London and working closely with our local marketing and product teams. You’ll build our partnerships presence from scratch and shape the rewards experience for a whole new audience.
What you’ll do
- Build and own local partnerships end-to-end: You’ll source, pitch, negotiate, contract, and onboard partners across dining, lifestyle, entertainment, travel, wellness and more. We don’t have a local brand or presence (yet), so this means being scrappy and creative in the way you approach potential partners.
- Adapt our UK rewards programme for the Netherlands: The rewards programme is the beating heart of Yonder, built around local, personal experiences. You’ll speak to early members, meet operators, explore neighbourhoods, and use deep cultural insight to adapt our programme and build a Dutch rewards experience members genuinely love.
- Curate high-quality, taste-led partnerships that drive value for all parties: It’s not just about closing deals and generating revenue for Yonder. Our members trust us to provide curated, high-quality experiences for them, and our partners rely on us for support delivering business goals. You’ll continually balance taste, brand alignment, and performance to create partnerships that work for everyone.
- Make partnerships last: There’s no partner success team to hand over to, so you’ll own every step of partner relationships - nurturing partners day-to-day, fixing issues quickly, and finding opportunities to grow and elevate partnerships over time.
- Learn and improve: You’ll track how each partnership is performing, share insights with the team, and use what you learn to make our future deals smarter and more impactful.
You're a great fit if you
✅ You thrive in 0→1 environments: You enjoy building things from the ground up, figuring it out as you go, and making making decisions with imperfect information.
✅ You’re familiar with the dining world: Dining is our hero category - although not required, an existing network within restaurants, hospitality groups or food brands is a real bonus.
✅ You have great taste and strong commercial instincts: You know what makes an experience feel special, and you can balance brand, member value and partner outcomes with good judgement.
✅ You’re a natural relationship builder: You enjoy meeting operators, getting to know a city properly and creating partnerships that feel long lasting and genuinely valuable.
You won’t be a great fit if you
👎 You want a big team around you: This is a hands-on role in a small, early-market team (there will be 2 people - including you! - in our Netherlands launch team!), and you’ll need to be comfortable owning a lot yourself.
👎 You prefer long planning cycles over quick learning: We move fast, test ideas in the real world and adapt quickly based on what we see.
👎 You find ambiguity uncomfortable: Although you’ll have support from the UK team, the partnerships playbook for the Netherlands doesn’t exist yet, and you’ll be helping to write it from day one.
