CNC Shop Manager

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a CNC Shop Manager to join our growing team.

 

The Opportunity

 

The Die Shop/Plant Services Manager supervises, and coordinates activities of workers engaged all facets of building molded doorskin dies and any other related work in the Die Shop.  Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in maintaining and supporting the Klamath Falls Campus in the areas of fire system maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, minor building repairs, and administrative support.

Develops and studies schedules and estimates time, cost, and labor estimates for products, services, and/or completion of job assignments.

Work includes researching and evaluating the effectiveness of machinery, equipment and shop procedures and recommending and implementing changes to improve operational efficiency.

 

What You Will Do

 

• Receives requests for die and other related machine work and maintains schedule, material supplies, and labor deployment. Responsible for Campus fire systems, including scheduled maintenance and compliance testing. Responsible for Campus plant services including material supplies and labor deployment.
• Estimates jobs and supplies those formal quotations to customers.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules, using knowledge of capacities of machines and equipment.
• Determines priority and sequence of operations.
• Inspects work, in progress and completed, to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Issues some purchase requisitions for materials and parts necessary to perform work.
• Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
• Will help recruit, hire, train staff, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.
• Performs related work as required.

Expected pay for this role is between $106,000.00 to $176,600.00 per year and is based on experience and qualifications.​
