Title: Driver / Imaging Clerk


Reports to: Site Manager


Summary:  The Driver / Imaging Clerk is a hybrid position responsible for the secure and timely collection of customer documents (primarily K-12 records) from client locations and assisting in the document imaging process when not on the road. This position requires operating company vehicles with care and professionalism while adhering to all applicable federal and state transportation laws, as well as company policies. When onsite, the role also supports daily production operations such as document preparation, scanning, and indexing. 


Essential functions:

  • Operate company vans or box trucks to retrieve customer boxes containing confidential records, primarily from K-12 schools and districts.
  • Maintain proper chain-of-custody protocols when collecting or transporting sensitive documents.
  • Travel to customer sites 1–3 days per week as scheduled, with occasional overnight travel depending on distance and service area.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers while on-site to ensure a positive service experience.
  • Ensure that all collected materials are accurately logged and securely returned to the facility for processing.
  • Assist with in-house operations when not traveling, including:
  • Preparing documents by removing staples, bindings, and paperclips for scanning.
  • Scanning documents using production-level imaging equipment.
  • Performing quality control checks to ensure image clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Support team goals for production efficiency, image quality, and timely job completion.
  • Follow safety and security procedures when handling documents and operating machinery or vehicles.

Work Environment:

  • Must be able to tolerate varying temperatures including heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
  • Work includes time both on the road and in a production environment. 

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent standing and walking; occasional sitting, climbing, kneeling, or crouching. 
  • Ability to handle, lift, and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. 
  • Must be able to read, talk, hear, and identify numbers accurately. 

Education and Eligibility Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR check required) 
  • Background check and random drug screens required 
  • Must carry a cell phone for communication during transit 
  • Ability to work overtime and respond to urgent requests, including on holidays 
  • Excellent navigation and directional awareness 
  • CDL preferred, if applicable for vehicle size
