We are seeking a Survey Party Chief (LS Crew Chief 1) to join our Cameron, LA team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform a variety of survey field tasks associated with surveying on a active construction site.
- Perform work under moderate supervision.
- Receive direction on moderately complex assignments, tasks, and execution.
- Gather all necessary information needed to properly conduct the survey in the most time efficient manner.
Minimum requirements:
- Minimum of five (5+) years of experience as a Survey Party Chief
- Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong motivation and problem-solving mindset
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and dedication to quality
- Self-sufficient with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal leaders, peers, and external clients
Technical requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of construction stakeout procedures and practices
- Familiar with field procedures for performing boundary and ALTA/NSPS land title surveys
- Ability to perform all aspects of data collected field run topographic surveys, boundary surveys and as-built surveys
- Thorough knowledge of total station, GPS and data collection, with the ability to adapt to new equipment and technologies
Other miscellaneous qualities:
- For the first 10 months, this role will be based on a remote construction site near Cameron, LA, with per diem provided. The schedule will be 10–12 hours per day, six days a week.
