HVAC Controls Technician/Programmer

AC Corporation is looking to hire an experienced HVAC Controls Technician/Programmer. The position is full-time and offers many great benefits and room for growth within the organization.

Job Qualifications:

• HVAC experience preferred.
• 3+ years-experience in programming Carrier i-Vu and Carrier CCN HVAC controls systems with additional 3+ years-experience in the HVAC Service field preferred
• Programming experience in Tridium N4 is a Plus
• Design Controls Program per engineer or plan/spec scopes of work.
• Select instrumentation and end devices to provide control of HVAC systems per the scope of work.
• Write programs according to the desired control effect for individual control systems.
• Determine control system failures and repair/adjust as required to maintain engineered conditions.
• Provide Commissioning and Validation per project specifications.
• Provide estimating assistance with instrument selections.
• Train Controls Technicians in design and programming techniques
• Electrical experience, including routing / installing of conduit and ability to read electrical schematics a plus.
• Willing to travel to out-of-town jobsites for extended periods of 1 – 2 weeks before turn-around to AC Corporation
• Ability to install and terminate instrumentation per layout drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and determine the need for repairs or replacement of instrumentation and end devices.
• Loop check and provide commission start-up assistance to a programmer.
• Ability to change parameters in the controls program software as needed for various control systems.
• Set-up and start Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s)
