Occupational Therapist (OT) – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation | Kingston of Ashland, OH

PRN | On-Site | Ohio OT License Required

Kingston of Ashland is seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. In this role, you’ll help residents regain independence in daily living, improve fine motor skills, and enhance quality of life—all within a supportive, resident-centered care environment in Ashland, Ohio.

What You’ll Do as an Occupational Therapist

• Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide hands-on therapy to improve self-care, mobility, and overall independence

• Monitor resident progress, adjust therapy plans, and maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and interdisciplinary care team members

• Educate residents and families on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and safe practices

• Ensure occupational therapy services meet state regulations and Kingston’s high standards of care

What You’ll Need

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapist (OT) license required

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred (new grads welcome)

• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills

• Compassionate, resident-first approach to therapy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative rehab team
