Paving Project Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Asphalt Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of asphalt paving projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, asphalt operations, and team leadership. This role involves coordinating contractors, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Salary: $90,000-110,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of asphalt projects from planning and budgeting to execution and final inspection.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring on-time completion of projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are implemented.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and project updates for stakeholders and senior management.
• Lead and mentor project staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Evaluate project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.

Requirements:

• 3+ years commercial paving/asphalt experience
• VDOT experience
