About the role

Role and Responsibilities
  • Production Workforce Management
  • Plan and optimize headcounts for each department
  • Manage and respond to employee relation issues regarding all production workforce (supervisors and operators)
  • Coach and train managers that they will supervise to develop leadership skills and professional/general competencies related to production
  • Address complaints and resolve problems of managers he/she supervises
Production Performance Management
  • Get reports on key production activities/results
  • Assign and direct work according to production plan for all managers
    Responsible for achieving, monitoring, reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Confer with other managers to coordinate activates in related departments
  • Interpret company policies to managers to ensure that safety and proves/ qualities policies are followed
  • Recommend continuous improvement activities to improve quality and reduce cost
  • Collect and voice opinions when the revision and/or establishment of new work procedures are needed
Production Budget Management
  • Manage the operation/investment budgets regarding production for each department
    Other tasks assigned
Skill and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and/or Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 8-10 years of relevant experience and 3-5 years of supervisory experience in Production
  • Experience in battery, auto part, automobile industry preferred
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar programs preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
